About Us

The Ilkley Scare Trails are run entirely by volunteers
raising funds for local charities & good causes!
It's going to be a SCREAM..!

The ILKLEY SCARE TRAILS are back again, bringing you a whole weekend of spooky, scary Halloween fun...and nightmares..! Set in the gorgeous Middleton Woods, up on Curly Hill, we are now running the Trails on Saturday 26th AND Sunday 27th October.

We ran our first Scare Trail back in 2015 as a one-off fundraiser for two local groups. It proved so popular we decided to put the event on again the following year, and we've gone from strength to strength having now raised over £18,000 for local charities & causes!

Now back for the fifth year, we have extended our FREE* Pumpkin Trail over two days, to not only give you another opportunity for a family fun day out, but to also maximise what we can give back to our amazing community here in Ilkley! Check out the What's On page to find out more about our Trails. *Suggested donation £1.
